Keep the range choice in your hands
Manual range selection lets you choose the setting instead of relying on automatic ranging. The front selector keeps this choice visible as you move between checks, and the display presents the reading for review before continuing. Familiarise yourself with the correct function, range and connections in the instructions; a listed measurement range is not a safety-category rating.
Follow the circuit, check the component
Continuity checking can help when tracing a circuit path, while diode testing and transistor hFE measurement add component-checking options. Temperature measurement is also supported, with a probe supplied in the kit. These functions broaden the diagnostic work you can carry out with one meter, subject to the operating instructions and the probe’s own limits.
A practical kit for repeated use
The display keeps readings in view, and the low-battery indicator tells you when the power supply needs attention. Automatic switch-off helps avoid leaving the meter running between jobs. A battery, measurement leads, temperature probe and protective holster are included.
