Description
This TUYA wireless door and window sensor works without a separate hub. It detects opening and closing, sounds a 100dB local alarm and, when connected to Wi-Fi, sends status changes and notifications to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.
Use and control
- The sensor can also be used without Wi-Fi: its local button arms or disarms the alarm. With Wi-Fi, the app for Android and iOS supports remote on/off control, timers, opening and closing history, and shared family access.
- An audible and light alarm can warn when a door, window, cabinet or drawer is opened. The two parts attach with 3M adhesive, without drilling the mounting surface.
Installation notes
- Mount the detector on the fixed surface, such as a door jamb or window frame, and the magnet on the moving door or window panel.
- Align both parts and keep the gap between the detector and magnet at no more than 7mm (0.7cm). Two AAA 1.5V batteries are required and are purchased separately.
