What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Description

The Nillkin Nature case is injection-moulded from environmentally friendly, non-toxic TPU on the sides and PC on the back. Its silky, ultra-thin texture combines a translucent glossy back with matte sides that help prevent slipping. A transparent matte logo completes the design while preserving the smartphone's original style.

The almost transparent, light and thin materials fit closely around the phone while providing all-round protection.
The matte volume-button covers help prevent scratches and integrate a dust-plug function.
Anti-slip strips on both sides increase friction for a comfortable, secure grip.
Precise cut-outs around ports, sensors and cameras allow the device to be used without removing the case.
The soft texture makes the case easy to install and remove.
The flexible, close-fitting construction protects the smartphone from scratches and damage caused by bumps.
