A multimedia update for your car

Kruger&Matz KM2018 brings smartphone functions and everyday listening into a compatible 1 DIN car installation. Its retractable 7-inch screen gives the receiver a larger control surface when opened, offering a way to update an existing car audio setup with a display for phone-based and media functions.

Put media controls on the touchscreen

The touch display places sound-source selection and multimedia controls on the receiver's screen. You can adjust its brightness to suit the cabin lighting rather than keep one fixed setting. The larger interface gives these everyday controls a place separate from the small screen of your phone.

Bring compatible phone apps to the display

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support gives a compatible smartphone a route to the receiver's display for supported navigation, music and communication functions. Choose the platform that matches your phone and use its supported app setup. The experience depends on the connected phone and app compatibility.

Calls and contacts through your phone

Bluetooth connects a compatible phone for audio and voice calls, with a built-in microphone for conversations. Phonebook synchronisation lets supported contacts appear in the receiver's interface, bringing number selection and call controls into the same system you use for listening.

Choose what accompanies the journey

Listen to FM or AM radio, or play supported stored media through USB or microSD. Equaliser presets and a user setting let you choose a sound profile for the music you prefer. The different sources make it possible to change your listening without relying on one playback method.

Top up a compatible phone

The USB-C charging port offers a power top-up for a compatible smartphone alongside the receiver's phone functions. Charging performance depends on the phone and a suitable cable. A separate USB port supports media playback.
