Dahua NVR5216-16P-XI 16-channel network video recorder, 16 PoE ports, 2 HDD bays, up to 32 MP

The Dahua NVR5216-16P-XI is a 16-channel WizMind network video recorder for IP surveillance systems. It supports IP-camera streams up to 32 MP and uses an embedded Linux operating system.

Video and intelligent functions

• Network bandwidth: With recorder AI disabled: 512 Mbps incoming, recording and outgoing; with AI enabled: 200 Mbps incoming, recording and outgoing.
• Decoding capability: With recorder AI disabled: up to 2 × 32 MP, 2 × 24 MP, 4 × 16 MP, 5 × 12 MP, 8 × 8 MP or 16 × 4 MP at 30 fps; with AI enabled: up to 1 × 32 MP, 1 × 24 MP, 2 × 16 MP, 4 × 12 MP, 6 × 8 MP or 16 × 1080p at 30 fps.
• Intelligent functions: Recorder-side face detection and recognition on up to 8 channels, perimeter protection and SMD on up to 16 channels, video metadata on 8 channels and AcuPick on up to 16 channels; additional camera-side AI is supported.
• Video compression: Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+ and H.264.
• Video outputs: 1 HDMI and 1 VGA; HDMI supports up to 3840 × 2160.
• Third-party camera support includes ONVIF; mobile access supports iOS and Android.

• Storage: 2 SATA bays; up to 20 TB per disk. HDDs are not included.
• Network: 1 × RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port.
• PoE: 16 × 10/100 Mbps PoE ports, IEEE 802.3 af/at, with ePoE on ports 1–8; 200 W total and up to 25.5 W per port.
