What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Description

Crong Hybrid Matte Magnetic MagSafe case in burgundy is designed only for Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max. Its rigid polycarbonate body has a matte anti-fingerprint coating, reinforced corners, integrated button covers and raised edges around the screen and camera. These features help reduce everyday scratches and impact, but no drop-height rating is stated and damage cannot be ruled out.

A built-in magnetic ring with 30 N52 neodymium magnets plus a positioning magnet aligns compatible MagSafe chargers, mounts, wallets and power banks.
Wireless charging performance also depends on the charger and power adapter; a MagSafe charger is not included.
Confirm the exact phone model before purchase and remove grit trapped between the phone and case during routine cleaning.

Package contents: one burgundy case in Crong retail packaging. iPhone, charger, cable, screen protector and other pictured accessories are not included.
