What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Description

The clear Crong Clear MAG Cover case with MagSafe is made specifically for iPhone 16. Its transparent hybrid construction combines a rigid polycarbonate back with flexible TPU sides, while reinforced corners help absorb impacts.

A built-in N52 magnetic ring aligns compatible MagSafe chargers, power banks, mounts and other suitable accessories. Raised edges around the display and camera help keep those areas away from flat surfaces. Integrated buttons, a lanyard attachment and precise openings for the USB-C port and speakers complete the case.
