What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Does a case protect against drops?

Description

Crong Clear MAG Cover is a transparent protective case made specifically for iPhone 15 Pro. The manufacturer's code for this variant is CRG-CLRM-IP1561P-TRS. Its hybrid construction combines a rigid polycarbonate back with flexible TPU around the sides and corners, while leaving the phone's colour and logo visible.

The built-in ring contains 39 magnets and is designed to align compatible MagSafe charging accessories and accessories, including magnetic car mounts. Actual holding force, charging speed and temperature depend on the phone and equipment used.
A raised screen edge helps keep the display away from flat surfaces when the phone is placed face down, while the raised rear frame surrounds the protruding camera lenses.
The case covers the sides and corners, incorporates the volume and side-button covers, and has precise openings for the USB-C connector and speakers.
A lanyard attachment point is built into the case. The clear back has a fine internal texture intended to reduce sticking and coloured contact marks against the phone.
