Description

The Alpina Smart Zigbee PIR motion sensor monitors movement indoors and can pass detection events to the Alpina Smart system through a compatible Zigbee gateway. It can be used as a trigger for app notifications or configured smart-home actions.

The stated detection range is up to 5 m with a 120° angle. Placement, line of sight, ambient temperature and movement direction affect practical detection.
The IP20 rating means the sensor is intended for dry indoor locations and is not protected against water.
Power is supplied by one 3 V CR2450 battery. The housing measures 46 × 30 mm.
A compatible Alpina Smart Zigbee gateway is required and sold separately. Radio range and notification delivery depend on the gateway, network and app settings.
Use the sensor as an aid rather than the only security measure; it cannot guarantee detection of every person or prevent theft.

The package contains one Alpina Smart PIR motion sensor. A Zigbee gateway and phone are not included.
